The client owned an enterprise application of a financial services group suggestively one of the largest in the world measured by assets. Its contributory pension management web application required a mobile application version to enrich user experience through mobile devices.
The challenge was around quality control while working with an existing offshore vendor. Under the mission of detecting defects upstream in the development process, SHIFT ASIA was recruited to execute international inspection on the basic requirement documentations, test design and integration testing.
By thorough investigation and inspection of basic requirements for its translation and logics, we eliminated majority of potential rework that would have happened in the process otherwise. It also contributed to minimizing the number of qa tickets and allowing the client’s qa team use their resources in other important areas.
