TATSUHITO began his IT career developing accounting software for the medical sector, gaining comprehensive experience across design, development, testing, and maintenance. He later joined SHIFT Inc., where he progressed from testing operations to roles such as test project manager and quality consultant. His involvement expanded to promoting SHIFT ASIA from Japan, contributing to project oversight, organizational development, and sales team establishment.

My career in the IT industry began with the development of an accounting package for the medical field.
I was involved in a wide range of processes, including design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance, which helped me build a strong foundation that continues to support my work today.
In 2015, I joined SHIFT Inc. I began with test execution tasks, then progressed to roles as a test project manager and quality consultant. Later, I took on the responsibility of promoting SHIFT ASIA remotely from Japan.
Building on that remote experience, I worked as the person in charge of SHIFT ASIA’s promotion, handling project follow-ups, business process improvements, the establishment of the sales organization, and organizational management.
Now, having relocated to Vietnam, I have officially transferred to SHIFT ASIA, where I serve as the Manager of the Quality Assurance Department.
I had always dreamed of working abroad someday, and thanks to a series of timely opportunities, I was able to take on my current role.
Vietnam offers great potential both in terms of talent and market opportunities, and I still While Vietnam has a lot of talented individuals, the standardization of processes and rules and the accumulation of knowledge are not as advanced as in Japan. On the other hand, in Japan, such systems have been mostly developed. I believe that by combining these with Vietnam’s strengths, we can provide higher quality services. Therefore, my goal is to strengthen collaboration with Japan, adopt best practices, and localize the culture and expertise cultivated at SHIFT for SHIFT ASIA.
Ultimately, I aim to build a team of quality assurance professionals in Vietnam that can compete on a global scale.
My roles as a Division Manager
daily life
As a General Manager, my core responsibility lies in organizational leadership and strategic management.
My mission is to strengthen and expand the Quality Assurance Department while driving sustainable revenue growth. Rather than specializing in a single function, I take a holistic approach, engaging in a diverse range of activities that support both operational excellence and long-term development.
Daily, I monitor project progress, manage revenue performance, and oversee team operations. I also take a hands-on role in key projects, working closely with engineers to ensure quality and efficiency.
Beyond technical and operational duties, I contribute to marketing and business development efforts—creating blog content, speaking at seminars and webinars, visiting clients, and participating in proposal and sales activities.
A critical aspect of my role is building a future-ready organization. This involves nurturing talent, shaping the team’s growth trajectory, defining our organizational vision, and identifying the services that will be essential moving forward.
Idea generation, strategic planning, and initiative execution are all integral to my leadership approach, as I work to position SHIFT ASIA as a globally competitive quality assurance organization.
